My son Lennon turns 11 today! I am so very in love with this intelligent kid, and I adore his grin. What a beautiful gift in my life! The photo is a few years old, but is the most recent on my computer. Happy Birthday! I feel old.
Peace,

Just get done saying I need blog topics when I think of one. Well actually I was thinking about as I trudged home from work tonight. I remember when I was younger all the wonderful things I wanted to be when I "grew up", I do aspects of some of these. I don't write this regretfully, just remembering. Here are some of my aspirations throughout the years... -many things theatre: an actress, until I realized I wanted to be a playwright more, or something behind the scenes... -many things movies: a screenplay writer, film director, special effects makeup artist, film critic... -a disc jockey...a better way to utilize my voice than asking poorly written survey questions. -an archaeologist/anthropologist...maybe an egyptologist -an english/drama teacher -a counselor -a rockstar! or blues singer...drummer/guitarist/digeridoo player... -a sculpter, painter, or any kind of artist really...I remember my fascination with Georgia O' Keefe, Salvador Dali in school... -a photographer -fashion/costume designer/seamstress -beautician..hahahahahahahahaha! -many things writing, and still aspire here: a poet, novelist...I've considered writing and illustrating children's books... -a professional bellydancer -a philosopher or occultist, though I dont know if those would be considered careers, just interesting ways to pass time -something involving the tarot...reading, writing, designing, teaching, I should do something here -running a book/tea/herb/clothing/pagan shop ...oh it goes on. I'm still not grown up though. Mostly I want to work for myself, do something creative (obviously), new, innovative, helping and inspiring to others and the World. And I can see how I have incorporated many parts of these things into my life, though I dont do them as a career. I have found that the first question a person asks is "What do you do?", as if I am defined only by what I do for a living. I should say "I do everything! But my day job is being a Rockstar!" Just musing, Eala
Bubbly for a New Year
Friday, December 28, 2007, 12:33 AM MST [General]
Decided to do a little changing here for the New Year and thought bubbles were appropriate to my mind for some reason:) We were very blessed this holiday season, we received many things we needed and have been projecting for, and I am very grateful for all of them! I got all kinds of excited at the sight of socks and blankets! And finally a digital camera, so I plan to catch many photos, probably starting at the demo downtown on New Year's Eve, if I have time between tarot readings. The story of surviving my husband's clan on Christmas Eve and Day is one for another blog. I have a difficult time being completely positive about the experience, so let's skip it, alrighty. I need some blog topics. Stay tuned... I have to go get some sewing done and write a poem or five, so I wish everyone a fantastically fabulous 2008! Peace,
